WHAT I DO

Therapy for Individuals: I support individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, and big life transitions. I specialize in working with people in their 20s and 30s who are trying to figure out who they want to be in the world. This time can bring big decisions regarding career, relationship, and family. Often called a quarter-life crisis, it can be hard for us to maintain our strength amid the uncertainty, self-doubt, and fear of this time. I help clients experiencing a quarter-life crisis to explore problem areas and harness their inner strength and resilience.

Therapy for Couples:  I help couples achieve new levels of intimacy in their relationships. Couples in their 20s an 30s often struggle with disconnectedness, infidelity, communication, and understanding their own needs.  Through couple therapy, you and your partner can become more open and responsive to one other.

My therapy approach focuses on identifying and building upon strengths that already exist in you. Therapy provides a safe-haven to explore all the choices and possibilities in front of you. This can be difficult to navigate alone and I am here to support you.

EMDR

I am also trained in a technique called Eye-Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) that helps clients process their traumatic memories in a new way.  Using bilateral stimulation, EMDR integrates traumatic memories into a cohesive narrative so that these memories no longer have a hold on us or define our lives. Contact me for more information about EMDR and the possibility of using this technique together. (Click here for more information on this incredible modality!)

WHAT I BELIEVE

I believe in the strength and resilience present in people's everyday lives. When going through a transition, it is often hard for us to maintain that strength amid uncertainty, self-doubt, and fear. I help clients going through a life or relationship change to explore problem areas and harness their inner strength.

Facing big changes can feel impossible at times. Whether you are transitioning out of college, struggling in your relationship, navigating a career change, or feeling lost in general, therapy can support you in addressing these transitions through honest communication and helping to strengthen your self-esteem and self-worth in order to make those key life decisions with confidence.
